About the Sunburst Group

Tom Hidell, Michelle Joly, Steve Howard and Jerri Bryant are the Realtors® of the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties. Tom, Michelle, Steve and Jerri work together to bring to you the best that Scenic 30A and The Beaches of South Walton have to offer, including local knowledge of Destin, Seagrove Beach, Rosemary Beach, WaterColor, Grayton Beach and all the other unique beach towns in South Walton County.

The Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties is a partnership between The Sunburst Companies, Inc., a property management firm specializing in vacation rentals and HomeWatch services, and Davis Properties of NW FL Inc., located in Seagrove Beach and one of the top real estate firms in Florida. The Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties combines each partner's diverse set of experiences, talents and skills to assist our customers in their real estate transactions.

Tom Hidell ~ REALTOR®, GRI

Tom joined Davis Properties in 2004 and has served as the Sales Strategy Manager for the Davis Properties sales team since 2006. Prior to his time with Davis Properties, Tom spent his career in the financial services industry. He was Senior Vice President-Chief Operating Officer of Internation Banking Technologies, a division of First Data Corporation. He was also Senior Vice President with John H. Harland Company, where he was in charge of check printing and financial services operations. Tom is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He collects British sports cars, is an avid golfer and enjoys sharing his love of the Seagrove Beach area with family and friends. Tom joined the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties in 2010 and, along with Michelle Joly, oversees the real estate division of The Sunburst Companies, Inc.

Michelle Joly ~ REALTOR®/Green Certified

A native of New Orleans, Michelle came to Seagrove Beach in 1997 and for nine years ran a custom home building business. Michelle has over 10 years of real estate sales experience and has been with Davis Properties since 2006. Highly motivated, creative and involved in community activities, Michelle served as a volunteer for the Seaside Neighborhood Charter School. As a DJ for 30-A Radio for over two years, Michelle hosted a weekly Jazz program. She is also very active within the Realtor® community and volunteers for various community service projects. Michelle's knowledge of the area, history and market make her a true local real estate expert. Michelle joined the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties in 2010 and, along with Tom Hidell, oversees the real estate division of The Sunburst Companies, Inc.

Steve Howard ~ REALTOR®/CPMS

Steve is co-owner of The Sunburst Companies, Inc., a property management company that has been in business for 8+ years, working with high-end vacation rental properties and HomeWatch services. Steve has an extensive background in marketing and advertising, holding an ABJ degree in Advertising from the Henry W. Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia. Prior to co-founding Sunburst, Steve spent close to 20 years in the marketing and advertising world, beginning with McCann Erickson Worldwide, then 14 years with the New York Times-owned GOLF DIGEST magazine. Steve has held his Florida real estate license since 2004 and is also a Certified Property Management Specialist. His family, through his wife Payson, has ties to the Seagrove area that date back more than 50 years. Steve founded the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties in 2007 as the real estate sales division of The Sunburst Companies, Inc.

Jerri Bryant ~ Realtor®, Broker Associate, LCAM, CPMS

Jerri was the first of the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties partners to move to the Beaches of South Walton, more than 20 years ago. With an extensive accounting background, Jerri served as the corporate accountant for one of the top beach and tennis resorts in Destin, progressing over the years into resort rental and development management. Moving solely into real estate sales in 2001 with a local Century 21 agency, Jerri was one of the firm's top-producing agents & a partner in one of the top award-winning teams inside the organization. Jerri joined the Sunburst Group @ Davis Properties in 2007 and works full time out of their Seagrove Beach office in both the real estate sales and vacation rental divisions of the corporation. In addition to holding both Florida real estate license and a FL Broker's license, Jerri is also a Licensed Community Association Manager and a Certified Property Management Specialist.
